This cheeky little asshole is one of Taki's best friends. Once a justice-fueled photojournalist, Hayato has been transformed by the evil organization Shocker into Kamen Rider 2, though he's still a bit of a loose canon in terms of justice-fueled reckless abandon. Really, this is probably why he and Taki get along so well.

Hongo is Taki's oldest and closest friend, even if it isn't always obvious from the lack of time they spend in each other's company. They were friends and rivals as young adults, spending their days racing motorcycles under the watchful eye of Tachibana Tobei. Since, Hongo has been turned into Kamen Rider, and Taki continues to support him from the sidelines.
